Students get crash course in photography

The board was full of writing when Professor Katherine Cronin, Department of Fine Arts,  finished speaking with the kids from the 2012 Presidency and the Press.

Professor Cronin, had the kids get up bright up and early in order to give them a crash course in photography, and a class all in the same setting. The kids had no idea that they were going to get themselves into when they walked into the J-lab and learn from one of the best.

Cronin was talking about perspective and the impact of photos when it comes to newspapers, and how one photo can have such an impact to change the world. Cronin “it is critical to take multiple pictures at once.” The kids were learning how to put copyright and use photo shop in order to get a stronger picture.

The kids then learned how to use Photoshop, which is important when you need to copyright your photos. She then brought Harrison up to the teacher’s chair in order to teach the rest of his fellow participants how to copyright their photo.

Copyrights are key when using photos and it gives you the credit that you rightfully deserve.
