In the midst of a demanding schedule, numerous appearances, and uncountable opposition, Former Senator Rick Santorum continues to rely on one constant: his family.

When questioned about the relationship between his family and the politics he uses to support them, a few funny anecdotes came to mind.  Advice from his daughter may include ways to improve his public image by bluntly saying, “Don’t put your chin down, you look fat.”

His son on the other-hand has suggested humor as a way to see the “lighter side of Dad,” and possibly connect with his voters in a more personal way.

Santorum recalls a family dinner that quickly turned to a fifteen minute critiquing of his political persona.  This in turn means that, for Santorum, he has “lots of experts” behind him.

The accompanying video is Santorum’s full answer to a more personal and character-oriented question of the candidate.
