Santorum confident he will pull ahead in NH primary

Former Senator Rick Santorum is confident in the outcome of what he referred to as his “little engine that could” campaign.
Santorum is currently very low in popular standings according to the NH primary poll, however, he is convinced that he will win over voters with his fresh ideas and perseverance. In a recent press conference, Santorum compared his campaign to the rebuilding of a stronger White House. He believes that it is easy for the government to say “no”, but in order for necessary changes to take place, the government needs to accommodate the needs of the people and start taking risks. Santorum also emphasized New Hampshire’s role while reflecting the importance of winning over the primary states early on in the election.
Although he is low in the WMUR Granite State Poll compared to that of Republican candidates such as Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann, Santorum believes he has the potential to be a front-runner in no time. When questioned about his recent loss in re-election for Pennsylvania state senator, Santorum compared himself to President Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln ran for U.S. senate twice and was never elected, but later went on to becoming one of the nation’s most legendary government leaders in history.
As the NH primary is soon ahead, Santorum has no doubt that his slow-rising campaign will lead him straight to the top.
