New Hampshire campaign directors ended the five-day student conference with an inspirational message.

After a week of political interviews and press conferences the students’ last presentation was held by democratic and republican state field directors Derek Scalia and Jacob Avery respectively.

Most of the topics covered by the directors included their experiences as new members of campaign teams and the mistakes that followed their first year as support members.

The two speakers also gave advice on how to become effective campaign volenteers as well as the day to day occupations found in campaign offices.

Avery commented that work for campaign centers requires many hours of travel and that he commonly finds himself driving “up and down, zig-zagging all around”.

Both men expressed their pride in taking the supporting role in campaign politics and their jobs of advising candidates and managing publicity.

The presentation ended with the encouragement that all the students should get involved with their local politics.
